Abstract

European Parliament Directive 94/2014 mandates the development of new technologies and innovations to improve air quality in densely populated areas, urban and suburban areas. Within this paper, the positive effects (savings) of switching to electric vehicles operated by Public Enterprise Post of Serbia in the working unit Novi Sad are considered. Taking into account the fact that with the expansion of e-commerce, the volume of postal items has increased significantly, the transition to greener modes of transport represents the environmentally responsible business of postal operators.
