Analyzing the values of public transport systems energy indicators and metropolitan air pollution together with the branch specific economic forecasts, the authorities and suppliers can estimate future trends. To reduce the urban usage of personal automobiles it is needed to increase the proportion of electric public transport vehicles (Tramways, Trolleybuses, Electric buses), also it needs to increase the urban mobility satisfaction by increasing attractiveness and accessibility of networks, growing essentially the number of trips by public transport. All together these can ensure more livable cities.
