Abstract

An intersection is a place on the traffic network where conflicts occur between traffic flows, which come in two or more different directions. As part of this research, an analysis of traffic conditions was conducted. After that, the forecast of traffic load at the four-line intersection in the city of Vranje is given. Based on the obtained data, adequate measures are proposed and then a functional evaluation of the proposed solutions is conducted in order to improve existing traffic conditions.
