Abstract

Digitization of mobility services in urban areas made it possible to increase the efficiency of existing public transport services and create a new approach to mobility-as-a-service (shared ride, vehicle sharing, on-demand service, etc.). This gives users new opportunities to access information, plan trips and pay for transportation services. On the other hand, it creates new challenges for users who do not have access to digital technologies or do not have the necessary knowledge and skills to use them. For the development of sustainable urban mobility, it is necessary to ensure the availability of public transport services to all categories of users and provide intuitive interfaces for easier access and use of digitized mobility services. Digitization in the field of mobility must be implemented as part of the broader concept of developing the digital environment of a smart city. Digital technologies support changes in user access to mobility services by encouraging a new approach to mobility-as-a-service that includes service sharing and vehicle sharing with less use of personal vehicles. The overall concept of mobility-as-a-service supports sustainable mobility in the urban area. When implementing the digitization process in the field of mobility, the willingness and limitations of users to accept and use new digital mobility services must be taken into account.
