Research of Demands and Attitudes of Cyclist In Zrenjanin

Abstract

Within this research study a survey was conducted among the residents of the city of Zrenjanin and surrounding villages, whereby significant data on cycling traffic in the observed area were collected. The obtained data refer to the basic features of bicycle users and the features of cycling journeys, but also needs, attitudes and opinion on the current conditions of the cycling infrastructure and signalization, and cycling traffic conditions in Zrenjanin. The key advantages of bicycle use were identified from the point of view of their users, the difficulties they face when cycling and the recommendations for a more massive bicycle use as a transport means in Zrenjanin.
